Terms of Service

Digital products

• Ubookshop books are digital files (PDF, and EPUB where stated). Nothing is shipped. After your payment is confirmed, the book is added to your library, where you can read it online or download it (up to 20 downloads per book in any 30 days — write to us if you need more).
• If you buy more than one copy, the first goes to your library and each extra copy becomes a one-time gift code that anyone can redeem into their own library.
• Change-of-mind refunds are not allowed, so please look at the free sample pages before you buy. If a file is damaged or won't open, or you were charged but the book didn't reach your library, contact us and we'll fix it or refund you.

Prices and payment

• Prices are shown in Bangladeshi Taka (BDT) and include all applicable taxes; there are no extra charges at checkout.
• We take payment by bKash or Nagad Send Money: send the exact order amount to the number shown on your order page for the wallet you choose, then enter the Transaction ID and the number you paid from. Unpaid orders close after 48 hours.
• Your order is complete when we have checked the payment in our bKash or Nagad account and marked it paid, usually within 2 hours between 9 am and 11 pm (Bangladesh time), and by the next morning for payments made overnight. If we can't find a matching payment, we'll tell you on the order page so you can check the Transaction ID.

Your licence

Each book is licensed to you for personal use, as described in our Licence. You do not buy the copyright.

Acceptable use

Please don't share, resell or publicly upload Ubookshop files, try to bypass download protections, or use the service unlawfully. We may suspend accounts that do.

Liability

Our books offer practical, general information. They are not professional, medical or financial advice. To the extent allowed by law, Ubookshop's liability for any purchase is limited to the amount you paid for it.

Selling and promoting with Ubookshop

• Authors who publish books on Ubookshop also agree to our Author Agreement. Partners who share a Ubookshop coupon code earn the commission agreed with us on paid orders that use it.
• Some books are written by independent authors. Each book's page names its author; Ubookshop sells the book and handles payment, delivery and support.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms and will post the new version here with its date. These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, and the courts of Dhaka have jurisdiction.
